Today we started with mental math. then we moved on and learned how Z scores work. stats are a pretty easy things to learn. its getting harder as we go.

purmutation vs combination

Today we mover on into the unit of properbility. permutation means '' obects that order matters". Combination-''objects in which order that doesn't matter". Im a bit confused right now but i think ill catch on after doing questions.

fundamental counting principle

Today we started with mental math then we went on to learn more about more proprability. We used bobby bear for an example to show how many ways you could make out firts with 3 shirts and 3 pants. which is nine.

probilitty

Today we started a new unit. Which is probility. We have to do our project for vectors on our own by the sounds of it. I think this unit will be easier for me. We are going to do some examples to know how to do probility equations.

vector tricks

Today we are starting with Mr.Max showing us some tricks on vectors.There is a starndard setup for the triangle method and parallegram method with vectors. Which means you just have to plug in the numbers and make your diagram. Now we get to work on our project for the rest of class

magnitude and direction

i did my exercise three and showed the teacher that i could it so i wouldn't have to finish the rest of exercise three. then i went on and started exercise four i think i got the hang of it by now. i think i could do my project now with out have problems by knowing how to do it

vector project

we started mental math. then we moved on to see what are project is for vectors. the due date is november 27. we are allolwed to do any kind of project as long as it over vectors. im going to do a vaction kind of thing across canada. they are going to be major stop overs from st. johns newfoundland to vancouver B.C

Today we started with mental math. we are also starting a new unit today on vectors. I don't really know what a vector is but i geuss i will find out today. we learnt how to do thing on the computer. now we started our booklet on vectors.

cake problem

we started class today with mental math. We then had to figure out ways of dividing a cake with out wasting next to nothing. we had to finish the question for the next day. I think this unit is the best unit so far that interests me the most.

design and measurement

thursday we just worked on some questions to see what we come up for answers. we spent all class doing this. i found some of these questions hard to do.

personal finance ''tricks"

we learnt more on questions with mortages and payments. we learnt some more things on calculator. ya i got lots of things to learn before i write the next test.

net worth statements

today we learned about net worths assests, liabilities. it found that its a real life thing and i think it will be a intresting subject to learn about.

personal finance

we worked on questions that we did get finished for the weekend. i got finished qestion 5 by the end of class and he corrected it and other had to finish it for the next day if not done.

today we finished a question on personal financial and corrected it. we have 2 questions for homework for the LONG WEEKEND!! this weekend i turn the big 18!!

today we went and we had to hand in to of our best seqence questions for or test on seqences

today we corrected question from yesterday. then we got to to practice some more questions. i like to use the program from excel its so much easier and u can see all the work that ur doing

today we did mental math then we went on to doing two other ways of doing spence operations. now we have one question sue for tomorrow.

we did our review today. we have to know matrix operations add subtract scalar multiplication and matrix multiplication. tansition matricies networks, directed and non directed.

wensday sepctember 23

today we did mental math and i bombed it. he asked if we did our home work. he just did some more example on networks. he also took some off old provincial examples. hopefully we have no homework tonight. i geuss it will be test review tomorrow ofr the test on friday.

tuesday september 22

today we didn't mental math so we started straight into learning about networks an direct and in direct matricies. now we got a home work assignment that is due for tomorrow that i probly won't get done because i have farming to do tonight.

today we correct our home work. now since my teacher not at the bus garage so im going to header home and do things around the farm for today.

friday september 18

today we learnt about matrix transitions. it is a little difficult to understand but over the weekend i should be able to get it done. yup im going to home for the weeknd up tonight.

thursday 17 of september

today we did mental math and i did alot better on it. we then learnt more about matrix multiplycation. he went through one qestion with us and then gave us one to do but i m not done yet and ill post it on tomorrow blog. i think so far what i know ill do alright on the test next friday. now time for me to go to the bus garage for the rest of the day.

today we made our class blog then we corrected the lessions that i did yesterdays i think i did pretty good i got most of the qestions correct but i do need some practicoe on some of the matrix multiplication.

teusday sept 15

today we worked on our qestions he gave us. i almosty got finished but ill do the rest tonight. some of the qestions were confusing but i figured them out and the qestions will be done for wensday morning forsure.

monday mornings class

this morning we kept on learning about matric operation. he said a joke that wasn't funny at all but he thought itwas. we learnt about the mulitplication of matric and scalar matrix. at the wnd of class he gave us a booklet to work on for the next day. the qestions he gave us is due on wensday mornings class.

goal setting

Goals are a important thing to keep and build ur confidence. This course i would like to do alright. i know that im not going to get no high marks but i would just like to be average. my goal for this math class would be in the 70's. after this semester is down i would hopefully graduated and planing to aprentice heavy duty mechanics or another plan is farming. another goal i would like to meet is to own a farm yard in the next 2 years
